Task 1: CLo3D Details and Fabrications.
Using CLO3Ddesign a full garment and exploring different details and fabrication I have learned in class. Something like mapping, textures, trims, and seams details are required and a MUST. This is to show a solid understanding of pattern structures. My design has embedded the details in the zipper, topstitching details, fabrications, textures, Binding, piping, and elastic band.
Then I simulate and fit it into an avatar on a 3D board.
Task 2: Exploring Adoptive designs and patterns in toil experimentations and finalising and confirming. Toils explored in pattern details and elements, and sewing techniques to fit with the decided upon market segment.
I start to draw my design into the pattern and cut and sew to see the outcome.
For Task 1, using CLO3D to design the garment turned out to be much more straightforward and efficient once I became familiar with the software. Initially, I faced a learning curve, but as I got to grips with the tools and features, I found that CLO3D significantly streamlined my workflow. It made the design process easier and saved me a considerable amount of time. I realized that with continued practice, CLO3D will be a powerful tool for me in the future, aiding in creating accurate and innovative designs.
For Task 2, I benefited from having done prior research, which gave me valuable insights into current market needs. This background knowledge allowed me to develop a design that effectively addressed those needs. By understanding what the market requires, I was able to tailor my design accordingly, leading to a more relevant and successful outcome.
