Project 03: VISUAL ANALYSIS
Within the theme of reduced inequalities, select an art/design work that revolves around the theme.
PHASE 2: ANALYSIS
This artwork shows variety where there are a lot of different sizes of faces and emotions. They arrange it in different proportions. The repetition is shown in the colour. It repeatedly uses black, yellow, pink, purple, and Tiffany Blue to create the artwork, and somehow the colour matching is showing contrast, which allows us to look more clearly at each subject.
PHASE 3: INTERPRETATION
This artwork is actually a tribute poster artwork to a 1998 American black comedy adventure film called "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas". It was created by Creep Ncotb and posted on a website called Behance on October 6, 2016. The film is about one of the journalists who, along with his lawyer, heads to Las Vegas to cover the Mint 400 motorcycle race. Soon, pleasure will overtake work. They brought a lot of drugs and alcohol, and they met all kinds of people. Under the influence of drugs, many confused and crazy pictures appeared, making them unable to distinguish between illusion and reality, which is more broken and which is more dirty and distorted. So the poster overall is using a lot of human faces to make it messy because this poster is trying to give people confusion.

PHASE 1: OBSERVATION
This artwork is positioned in portrait mode. In terms of the visual aspect, it is clear that rainbow colours are being used to fill out the artwork. Overall, the artwork is vibrant. The subject of this artwork is the tree with many layers of leaf located in the middle of the artwork. Everything in this artwork is about nature. The sun is on the top left, and the moon and part of the small stars are on the top right, depicting day and night in one artwork. At the left bottom, the bird is soaring freely, and at the right bottom, there is a thunderstorm with large waves. The artwork is full of distinct lines which is a straight line, diagonal line, curved line, wave line, shark line and dash line.
PHASE 2: ANALYSIS
This design is symmetrically balanced. The tree is the emphasis, which is located in the centre of the image. The left side uses light colours, the right side uses dark colours; the upper left is the sun, and the upper right is the moon and stars; the lower left is sunny, and the lower right is thunderstorms, which form a contrast. Overall, the combination of the colours shows harmony.
PHASE 3: INTERPRETATION
This artwork is created by ЯΔJJIБ ĦΔSSΔИ. He was a graphic designer and also a photographer from Dhaka, Bangladesh. This artwork launches on November 16, 2021. Eventually, this artwork is an interior art design for people to decorate their houses by hanging artwork on their walls.
Idea Exploration
Everyone is unique; we do not need to compare with others. People like to compare themselves to others, such as what school they are attending, what age they need to get married, what car they are driving, and what job they have. So, instead of shouting, I'd like to use visuals to convey the message. In my artwork, there are actually five different buildings that are among the world's top 10 tallest buildings. The difference between them is that they are in different countries and built by the locals, but they are all there, including in the world's tallest building, so there is no need to compare. We just need to be who we are. I'd like to send a message to the remaining people: don't worry about other people's cold words; everyone has their own areas of expertise. There is no need to compare yourself to others. On the other hand, we do not need to worry about what other people say about us. They are all just passengers in our lives. A few years later, when you look back again, no one will remember what they have done to us, but only ourselves will know how emotional we are at that moment.
