Assignment 02 ｜Basic fitted garment

Task: Sew on a basic fitted garment using a sewing machine. I have to produce a garment by manipulating the Master Pattern Block and produce a desired basic top and bottom including:

• ONE type of collar (flat or standing collar)
• ONE bottom piece (pants or skirt)

PROGRESS: I am required to construct the basic fitted garment using Block size 12 and produce a sample in Colico fabric.

REQUIREMENTS: I should transfer the master pattern block into the working final pattern, and the final pattern must include all the required pattern instructions.

I trace the pattern onto majong paper and add seam allowance all around. After that, cut out all of them.

Next, I arrange all of them in calico fabric so that I would not waste my fabric.

Added interfacing in the collar and the waistband.

Then overlock all the fabric

Lastly is combining them all together by using a sewing machine. This is the final outcome.
