EXERCISE 01: Task 1 - Create 1 design of Gestalt theory | TASK 2 - Create 1 design of contrast
| 2 Design in total |Task 01 _ Create 1 design of Gestalt theory
In German, Gestalt means "form" or "shape." Gestalt principles or laws are the rules that affect how the human eye perceives visual elements. The purpose of Principles is to demonstrate how complicated situations can be simplified to simpler shapes. They also want to understand why our eyes view shapes as a single, united form rather than as separate, simpler elements.
In gestalt theory, I choose to create the principle of similarity, according to which objects that have a similar shape and colour are perceived to be related or grouped together.
My exploration:
1)
Nowadays, we are moving toward equality, so I am using a different colour but the same shape to present my thoughts. Whatever gender we are, what race we are, or what religion we are, we are all equal.
TASK 02 _
Create 1 design of contrast
Contrast is the state of being strikingly different from something else in juxtaposition or close association.

My exploration:
1)
Emotions can be joyful or sad for everybody. We don't have to put on a pleasant face to satisfy others. Be yourself and enjoy the current moment.
2)
There are various ways to solve problems when we encounter them, but I believe that putting ourselves in other people's shoes can help us solve our problems and interact with others more effectively. This is because, while everyone is different, we can't be overly focused on ourselves.
Feedback from lecturer
_
Two of my designs are fine. It's just that I need to practise speaking clearly and slowly, read more articles, or do some study to be better prepared to express my words.
Self-reflection for the week
_This week is my first Design Principles class. I met Dr. Pouline, who was my lecturer. My first impression of her was that she was a serious person. Maybe she was the head of a design school. I'm a bit afraid of her. However, I eventually found out that she was a very chatty person who made the class laugh a lot. I am fortunate to be able to learn in a pleasant environment.
